Our Journey
Our journey started with a simple idea: children deserve warm, caring homes where they can thrive and grow into adults able to achieve the best outcomes in life.
Our director team brings a collective 40 years of experience in adult homeless care. One recurring truth emerged when working with individuals who had reached rock bottom—many had grown up in children’s homes. Too often, their experiences were defined by neglect, instability, or a lack of genuine care and love.
With hope and determination, we set out to transform the experiences of children in care. Our goal is to provide top-quality homes, featuring spacious living areas and high-standard furnishings—homes we would be proud to raise our own families in. To ensure the highest level of care, we have a dedicated, compassionate team available 24/7, trained in the latest trauma-informed parenting techniques to create a supportive, healing environment.
Our journey is still young, but Orion House being rated Outstanding in July 2026 shows what our model can achieve. Our vision is unchanged: to keep improving how we care for children, so every child thrives in a loving, nurturing home with the best team around them.
