Built Over the Years, Together
A Journey, Not a Finish Line
Outstanding is never the work of one person, or of a single year. It was built on the foundations our founder, Ruth Bloch, laid from day one, and achieved under the leadership of our Chief Executive, Carol Jones. Above all, it was earned by the Orion team and their Registered Manager, who grew into the role with us from within. Her passion, dedication and sheer hard work sit at the heart of this result.
It shows in how our children are doing. Children who arrived carrying difficult histories are now settled, growing in confidence, engaging in education and building trusting relationships. Some have moved on from care — well prepared and well supported for their next chapter.
That is what we do. Ruth, Carol and the whole team are now focused on bringing the same standard to every home: developing our people, strengthening our therapeutic culture and making sure every child feels safe, valued and able to thrive. We grow our people from within, because when we look after our team, they look after our children. That is how Outstanding is made.
